Becoming a Yoga professional is something a lot of people are looking forward to these days. In association with TQCert and Mr. Srinivas Pulluri (Channel Partner), QCI Exams are conducted at Yogalaya Pune.

What is QCI?

QCI is an autonomous body that assures quality standards across all spheres of economic and social activities. They have recently introduced a Scheme for Voluntary Certification for Yoga Professionals. You have to appear and pass the QCI exam in order to become a Certified Yoga Instructor or a Certified Yoga Teacher.

As per QCI records, in a span of just one year, the scheme has received about 8,000 registrations from yoga professionals across India. The council had renowned yoga personalities like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Baba Ramdev, H R Nagendra and O P Tiwari in the panel who helped design and curate the scheme to assure that even a basic trainer evolves into a professional.

Currently, there are two levels of QCI exams-

Level 1: Yoga Instructor

To pass this level-

  • There will be one MCQ based exam. (2 hours)
  • There will be viva and practical. (10 minutes)

Level 2: Yoga Teacher

To pass this level-

  • There will be an exam which will have MCQs as well as 10 subjective questions. (3 hours)
  • There will be viva and practical. (20 minutes)
